Glass is always a popular medium to work in but our artists always manage to produce very different designs. Amanda Foster who lives in nearby Wiltshire sells with us every month on the main market square – here she talks about her work as Glorious Glass Creations, a business she created two years ago.
Hello Amanda, please describe what you make and tell us what inspires you.
I make and sell recycled and kiln formed glass homeware. Everything inspires me – glass is all around us – you just need ‘glass vision’ to see all the possibilities! I no longer look as what is in a bottle, I just look at the colour and shape of the bottle and how quickly can it be emptied…
I am a regular – I love the vibe, the street food, the other talented artisan makers, the networking and the friendliness so the customers get the whole ‘meet the makers’ point of B.A.M. I would highly recommend B.A.M to makers and sellers AND the vital ingredient – appreciative customers! I’m there every month for the rest of the year.
