Join us on November 9th for a nostalgic day of reflection with free vintage-inspired music, a pop-up vintage tearoom, free paper poppy art for kids and two minutes’ silence at 11am.
Sunday November 9th is Remembrance Sunday – a time to remember those who gave their lives for us – so from 10am we’ll be playing vintage tunes before honouring the 2 minutes’ silence at 11am.
Following that we have free live vintage music until 2pm from vintage singers The Mountain Flowers and swing trio Bartoune, both of whom will add a nostalgic feel to the day alongside our pop-up vintage tearoom where we will be serving tea in china cups and saucers with slices of homemade cake. And our craft tutor The Twinklerose Fairy will be teaching kids free poppy art nearby as well as offering low-cost paid-for art projects too.
VEGGIE LUNCH OPTIONS
If you’re looking for something less sweet then we also have plenty of delicious and wholesome veggie food for lunch including Cafe Dish and the award-winning Gopal’s Curry Shack. Our resident foodies The Feastie Boys and Eat Like A Greek will be there too with both meat and vegetarian options, The Greatest Little Coffee Box will be serving their delicious hot drinks from their converted horsebox and you can buy alcoholic and non-alcoholic fruit drinks from our other converted horsebox trader, The Horsebox Drinkery. (Please note: Marilyn’s Food and The Bath Soup Company are no longer attending).
